Contributing Consultants add their own unique experience and expertise to our work!

The following creative and collaborative folks have participated in a NextStep Nonprofit Case Study by providing their input and ideas on a presenting problem for our clients. Thanks guys!

  Dan Miot, Producer and Owner, GreenCastle Video Productions and RueShare. Dan comes with a background of over 20 years in video production.  In that time, he has produced numerous videos for web and social media, television commercials, DVDs and documentaries.  Some of the companies and organizations he’s worked with include Community InRoads, Whole Foods, Plum Market, Boston University, Plimoth Plantation, Haiti Projects and Cindy’s Kitchen out of Brockton.  Before starting GreenCastle Video Productions, he worked in community media centers in Burlington, Massachusetts, Wilmington, Massachusetts and Carver, Massachusetts where he served as executive director. Dan also developed NextStep Nonprofit’s website. Thank you Dan!

  Carla Sheri, Founder & Owner – Kick It Up Consulting. Carla Scheri has enjoyed a long and varied career in the Entertainment Industry acting as project manager on commercials and feature films as well as multiple marketing and promotion positions in the music business. It was during her time at independent not-for-profit label Daemon Records that she learned the true value of community building and the positive effects that accessible arts & culture have on a city. Upon returning to her home state of Massachusetts, Carla started her career in the non-profit world as Special Projects Coordinator for the Lynn based housing agency Centerboard. Throughout her career, Carla has learned the value of keen organization, to-do lists and a penchant for keeping all of the parts moving in the same direction.
